Environmental Policy

We recognise our responsibility to the environment. As part of our ongoing commitment, here's our plan to reduce our environmental impact.

A local charity that helps to protect and conserve local wildlife and waterways

Policy Aims

• To exceed all regulatory conditions where possible
• To improve environmental performance
• To reduce our environmental impact
• To make environmental issues part of our business decisions
• To train employees and increase awareness

Paper and Packaging

• Use sustainable packaging for all of our product ranges
• Minimise paper use in the office
• Reduce our packaging
• Use recycled and recyclable paper products
• Reuse and recycle all paper where possible

Energy and Water

• Reduce our energy consumption
• Switch off lights and electrical equipment when not in use
• Heating consumption will be minimised where possible
• Energy consumption and efficiency will be key factors in all new product ranges

Office Supplies

• Before purchasing equipment we’ll look at whether renting is possible
• Environmentally friendly products will be purchased when possible
• Wherever possible we will reuse and recycle

Transportation

• Reduce travel to necessary trips only
• Promote e-mail or video/phone conferencing

Maintenance and Cleaning

• Environmentally friendly cleaning products will be used where possible
• Only licensed and appropriate organisations will dispose of our waste

Culture

• Our staff will be fully involved in the implementation of this policy
• Our policy will be updated at least once annually
• Our staff will be provided with relevant environmental training
• Work with all of our suppliers, contractors and sub-contractors to improve  environmental performance
• Use local labour and materials where available
